One platform, three connected product lines

Gewerkton is organised into three product lines: Field, Studio and Cloud. Together, they cover site capture, browser-based work with plans and models, and coordination between the platform and third-party systems.

Gewerkton Field is the voice-first construction site app. It turns dictation into evidence, defects and daywork reports, while also supporting takt and portal workflows. The focus is the point at which information is created: on site, during inspections, meetings, handovers and day-to-day work.

Gewerkton Studio is the browser workspace for plans and models. It also addresses projects where no model exists: in that case, the site team can create one directly in the browser. This gives teams a visual workspace without making an existing model a prerequisite.

Gewerkton Cloud handles operations and model or data coordination between Field, Studio and third parties. Its role is to connect information captured on site with the wider project environment rather than leave it isolated inside a mobile workflow.

These capabilities are currently beta software. The company’s next stated milestone is the public beta planned for fall 2026, so the launch should be read as an early product-stage entry rather than a finished general release.

Designed around evidence from the site

The same evidence-led principle carries across the platform’s construction documentation and defect management functions.

Multilingual work without a single AI dependency

Cross-border projects are a central part of the platform’s scope. Gewerkton supports 27 content languages, allowing teams in the EU, US and APAC to work on the same project in their own languages while the evidence original remains unambiguous.

That language coverage also extends to projects in Asia. Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese crews can work with multilingual capture through to the resulting report. Data residency can be selected separately, giving projects a choice over where their information is handled.

The platform’s BYO-AI model supports 13 AI providers. Customers bring their own keys and select a region from EU, US or Asia, including mainland China. The stated aim is to avoid vendor lock-in while allowing the AI layer to reflect regional requirements and project choices.

Data residency follows a similarly open approach: users can choose an EU cloud or their own infrastructure. Combined with bring-your-own keys and regional provider selection, that gives projects control over both the AI service and the underlying deployment location.

German commercial depth, global operating scope

Although Gewerkton is positioned for global markets, its starting point in Germany remains visible in its commercial integrations. GAEB, REB, XRechnung and DATEV provide the platform’s deepest market-specific integration. The global layer is then built around multilingual content, region-selectable AI and deployment choices.

This combination is particularly relevant for projects whose operating footprint crosses national and language boundaries. A project can involve crews from different regions, use separate languages during capture and reporting, and still retain the original evidence behind the record. Regional AI-provider choice and selectable data residency are designed to keep those decisions from being dictated by a single vendor.

A solo founder and a fleet of coding agents

The way the platform is being built is also unusual. Gewerkton has a solo founder directing a fleet of coding agents using Codex and Claude. In one night, that fleet shipped 21 software packages. The work was verified with negative controls and mutation tests, bringing explicit testing into a development model centred on agent-directed output.

That development story does not change the product’s current status: Gewerkton remains in beta, and its public beta is planned for fall 2026. It does, however, show the scale at which the founder is using coding agents to assemble and test the software behind the three connected product lines.

A tracker-free public presence

Gewerkton has applied its regional and privacy choices to its marketing site as well. The site is available in 27 languages and runs with zero trackers. It has no cookie banner and uses a fully egress-free architecture.

The company has also assembled a media bank containing more than 51 self-produced clips and posters. That material supports the presentation of the platform across its markets and language variants without changing the central product message.
